NEW FAIR, NEW OPPORTUNITIES!

IFEMA MADRID and Fiera Milano join forces to organize Fruit Attraction São Paulo in April 2024.

After fifteen editions, Fruit Attraction, one of the most important trade fairs for the fruit and vegetable sector, organized by IFEMA MADRID and FEPEX, will enter the Latin American market with its internationalization process as a global reference brand.

A new commercial meeting point for the professional fruit and vegetable sector, integrating the entire value chain and promoting cross-border trade between America and Europe. The participation of 200 exhibitors from all over the world is expected with approximately 9,000 square meters of floor space, including a program of international buyers.

In concrete terms, Brazil is one of the five largest producers of fruit and vegetables in the world, with more than 40 million tons in 2020, and as the largest market in all of Latin America, with more than 212 million inhabitants.
Agriculture generally represents 6% of GDP in Brazil. This makes the country the leader in Latin America in the production of bananas, citrus fruits, pineapple and corn.

Dutch imports of mainly fruit from Brazil are on the rise. For example, imports increased by more than a quarter in the past five years to €424 million in 2022.
The top 3 products are lime, mango and melon.
